DVI is a multi-pin connection used for passing standard-definition and high-definition digital video signals, found on HDTV tuners, a growing number of DVD players, HDTV-ready televisions, and some computer displays. DVI connections transfer video signals in pure digital form.

The 500 series DVI-D interconnects feature a dual link 24 pin design that supports resolutions up to 2048x1536 and have a CL-3 rated jacket that is approved for in-wall installation.
